The Heart of Educating

7 July, 2017 - 11 July, 2017

The inner development residential retreats are designed to deepen our relationship to the inner work at all levels. They are held over five days. At the same time as being replenishing and inspiring they provide a nourishing and balanced environment, giving us a readiness to meet our lives more fully. Lectures and health-giving experiences through the arts, daily practice and supported rest* bring healthy rhythms and rejuvenation.

The Heart of Educating will include the mystery of the spoken word, how to connect and express what we are imparting with potency, and the task of consciously educating. Working in this way reveals that educating is far beyond the content. Through understanding our relationship to the collective consciousness we can recognise we are all educators.

This retreat is for all educators of both adults and children.

*A note about Supported Rest. A time is put aside each day to allow participants to digest and assimilate the content of the retreat. During this time each participant is supported to experience a deep sense of rest through therapeutic eurythmy, footbaths, compresses or oil dispersion baths. Therapeutic eurythmy connects the healthy rhythms of the human being with the cosmic rhythms of nature through movement. Footbaths, compresses and oil dispersion baths use health giving substances and warmth to calm the nerve and sensory system to rejuvenate from the overstimulation of daily life in our times.
