Social Understanding, Gender and Sex – School Wellbeing Program

Working Wholistically with Social Understanding, Gender and Sex is a social program that gradually unfolds for students as they move from Class 5 to 12.
It encourages equality and self confidence by building recognition and acceptance of inner individuality that develops alongside changes in the physical body and the recognition of social conditioning verses the possibility of individual choice. The basis is upon keeping the whole class together and from Class 8 the conversations deepen to include physical and emotional diversity, sex, sexuality, gender and attraction.
Lisa Romero and Melanie Deefholts will be facilitating the program on the following days:
Students Class 5 – 12 October 28 – 31
Parents of Class 5 – 7 October 28th 5:30pm
Parent of Class 8 – 12 October 30th 5:30pm
