Working Wholistically with Gender and Sexuality – Webinar

A webinar with Lisa Romero sponsored by the Association of Waldorf Schools in North America and the Anthroposophical Society in America.

A healthy relationship to gender and sexuality supports our wellbeing, both as individuals and as a community. The form in which we bring gender and sex education to children and adolescents needs to serve them in cultivating useful capacities with which to meet the growing societal changes around this fundamental aspect of being human. Equally as important, education has the potential of harmonising such things as the inner disturbances and imbalances created by social media and exposure to pornography which is the most prevalent sources of implicit sex-education in our time. 

Providing a healthy and socially constructive sex education is the responsibility of the primary caregivers, parents, teachers, as well as individuals in the wider community, who together contribute to the collective consciousness. Working to overcome our own biases and imbalances will prepare us to more readily awaken to the spiritual wisdom that can bring health and harmony into the evolving expression of gender and sexuality.

The webinar will commence at 4:30pm Pacific time USA and Canada on Wednesday March 13 which in Sydney Australia is 11:30am Thursday March 14.
